Woolworths' Mini Fairy-Bread Hot-Cross-Bun Fondues Recipe


Dip your fruitless hot cross buns in sprinkles and top with indulgent treats for an easy Easter dessert that will wow.


Ingredients

4 Woolworths fruitless hot cross buns

25g unsalted butter, melted

200g Woolworths white chocolate, broken into pieces

2 tbs 100s & 1000s sprinkles

125g strawberries, halved

50g chocolate cream wafer sticks

50g petite mini meringues

30g Woolworths mini wafers

50g pretzels

Directions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced and line a baking tray with baking paper. Brush tops of buns with butter. Use a 3cm-round cutter or a small sharp knife to remove a circle from the centre of the buns, being careful not to cut all the way through. Bake buns for 5 minutes or until lightly toasted.

Step 2

Meanwhile, place chocolate in a medium microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 1 minute, stirring every 30 seconds, or until melted.

Step 3

Place buns on a serving platter. Carefully spoon melted chocolate into cavities. Top with sprinkles. Serve with strawberries, wafer sticks, meringues, mini wafers and pretzels.
